What we collect
- If you join the wishlist: the name and email you type into the sign-up form, plus which "steel" you picked. Nothing else about you is required.
- While you play: gameplay events (which screen you're on, cards played, battles won) tagged to a random id stored in your browser — not your name or email. This tells us what's fun and what's confusing; it never leaves a device tied to who you are.
- The Truth cards you write: stay on your device. We only ever see how many characters you typed, never the words themselves.
What we never collect
- No payment or financial information — SoulForge is free to play.
- No phone numbers, addresses, or government IDs.
- No selling or sharing your email with third parties, ever.
Why we collect it
To send early-access updates if you ask for them, and to understand which chapters, battles, and moments in the game actually land — so we can make SoulForge better before the full release. That's the whole list.
Cookies & local storage
We use your browser's local storage (not third-party cookies) to remember your save file, a random session id, and your progress. Clearing your browser storage resets these — nothing is recoverable from our side tied to you personally.
Our pages load the Lilita One and Nunito typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). When your browser fetches those font files, Google receives your IP address as part of that request, like any web resource. No other third-party service is loaded on this site.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from updates any time via the link in any email we send.
- Ask us to delete your wishlist entry — email us and we'll remove it.
- Play without ever submitting the form — nothing about you is required to play.
